A French company safeguarding « Living Heritage »
Les Ateliers Aubert-Labansat has been awarded the label « EPV » safeguarding « Living Heritage », which was created to promote the development of enterprises with » an economic heritage », particularly entailing renowned or time-honoured rare skills, based on the mastery of traditional or sophisticated techniques and specific to a geographical area.
The three principal objectives are:
- Valuing the founders of the French cultural and economic identity, facilitate media coverage nationally and internationally and thus avoid the disappearance of the most fragile of them.
- Encourage these companies to innovate and create an international market for their products or services (the global market opens thanks to the Internet is an extraordinary opportunity for most of them).
- To reinforce their growth, allowing the development of jobs and thus the transmission of know-how and business.
Works of recognised quality.
Les Ateliers Aubert-Labansat holds official approval for a number of «Qualibat» French building standards which provides a guarantee for our clients the quality of our finished work.
We currently hold approval for eight standards, in particular those concerning the restoration of historical monuments.
Joinery
4313 : Joinery (technically superior)
A company which possess a design facility or uses an outside consulting firm, designs, manufactures and installs any work either internal or external necessary for the installation, the improvement of premises of any kind and any destination, regardless of the level of sophistication required.
Included in this joinery classification: art and decoration, curved stairs and wooden or laminated wooden handrails, panels and wall facades of wood.
Included in this classification: the manufacture and installation of joinery made of synthetic materials including glass in the limit of 300 m2 per site.
4372 : Fences and trellises.
A company that manufactures and installs commercial or decorative trellises, internal or external, as well as for fences or trellis screens, or grills, joinery relating to the art of gardening.
4393: Restoration of joinery of historic monuments.
The qualification of joinery of historic monuments concerns: companies who are holders of qualification 4313 – Joinery – (superior technical), performing any joinery work contributing to the restoration of protected buildings as for historical monuments.
Carpentry
2311 : Frames (technical standard).
A company who manufactures or supplies and installs on a regular basis frames up to 12 meters support range and equally manufactures, supplies and installs staircases on posts, including handrails. It also ensures the supply and installation of structural frames of « engineered » timber limited 12 meters support range.
2312: Frames (technically confirmed).
A company which has the means to create and build structures of timber up to 25 meters support range, simple supports, stair ways based in wood or wood and metal, including handrails. All these works also appertain to laminated wood. It also ensures the supply and installation of structural « engineered » timber within 25 meters support range.
2313: Frames (technically superior).
A company which have a design department, builds timber constructions and structures up to 40 meters support range, scaffolding, stairs in curved wood or wood and metal, including handrails, any work which may involve laminated wood.
2383: Restoration of ancient heritage structures.
A company, which has the qualified 2311 – Frames -, realises the restoration of roof structures and diverse structures and various forms of connections, through the intervention of their highly qualified staff in ancient heritage buildings.
2393: Structural Restoration of Historic Monuments.
A company, who has the qualification 2312 – Frames, possessing or using the means necessary studies, designs and manufactures all works of consolidation, restoration or reconstruction of structures in buildings protected as historical monuments .
