Over one hundred years on from its establishment in 1890, Les Ateliers Aubert-Labansat still proudly carries the names of the two family firms specialising in traditional carpentry and joinery that merged thirty years ago.

Carpenters, Joiners. Each has his own expertise. It is only here at Les Ateliers Aubert-Labansat that our craftsmen can learn their art; there are no schools in existence nowadays to acquire their specialised skills.

Our craftsmen are confronted daily by the ancient techniques as practised by our distant ancestors. They are armed with the knowledge passed down through generations and are the guardians of their secrets and practitioners of their methods. We are proud that here at Les Ateliers Aubert-Labansat we have the talent to create or reproduce historical items whether dating from the Middle Ages or the reign of Louis XIV.

Create, Restore. For us, here at Les Ateliers Aubert-Labansat these two words are our doctrine.

From cathedrals to castles, drawbridges to monumental staircases, to projects carried out on behalf of public authorities, our commissions are counted in the hundreds.
